Innovative synergies in thermal management: The partnership of ALUTRONIC Kühlkörper GmbH and SEPA EUROPE GmbH
The partnership between ALUTRONIC Kühlkörper and SEPA EUROPE is based on decades of experience and ideally complemented products. The heat sinks of ALUTRONIC and the fans of SEPA are the perfect solution when it comes to thermal management. The cooperation between the two companies has led to innovative solutions that revolutionize the market for the cooling of electronic components.
Joint innovations: Active cooler HZ30B05A and PK181 heat sink combined with fan
An impressive example for the innovative strength of this partnership is the active cooler HZ30B that was recently presented by SEPA EUROPE. This solution combines an aluminium pin block heat sink with a RaAxial fan and boasts a remarkable height of a mere 8 mm. A particularly innovative feature is the integration of the fan flush to the heat sink instead of placing it in its standard position on the surface. The result is a compact construction coupled with maximum performance that provides an ideal solution at a time when electronic components are becoming smaller yet more powerful.
ALUTRONIC has simultaneously presented a cooling system that differs significantly from the generally used systems. In conventional cooling solutions the surface that requires cooling is located parallel to the direction of flow of the fan. In the case of the PK181 heat sink however, the surface that requires cooling was aligned perpendicular to the air flow and the cooling fins are perforated in a transverse direction. This innovative approach improves the turbulent flow and ensures efficient cooling so that on the flat-milled surface of 80mm x 58mm a power loss of up to 100W with a heat resistance of only 1,1K/W can be dissipated. Furthermore the PK181 only weighs 225 g making it ideal for applications where weight is a key factor.
The combination of expertise in heat sink technology and the development of powerful fans has produced a new generation of cooling systems that sets a benchmark for efficiency and performance.
