Industrial PCs<\/strong>
\nIndustrial PCs (IPC) are employed in factories and production plants to automate and monitor the manufacturing processes. The main processors (CPU) and graphics processors (GPU) in industrial PCs generate a considerable amount of heat during operation. IoT Devices
\n<\/strong>IoT devices (Internet of Things) play an increasingly important role in automation technology. These connected devices increase the efficiency of the monitoring, control and optimization of processes in a multitude of applications. Although IoT devices have numerous advantages, they also create new challenges with regard to thermal management. Due to their compact design and their consequent frequent use in applications where space is limited, the dissipation of heat is often difficult. Inadequate cooling can result in power loss, shortened lifespan and even failures. Fans play a decisive role in dissipating heat as they are used to improve the air circulation in the housings of IoT devices and to dissipate the heat generated by electronic components, e.g. processors, memories and communication modules. Hot spots can thus be avoided by targeting the airflow and an even distribution of temperature achieved.<\/p>\n

In this case, the chip cooler\u00a0HZ30B<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is the perfect answer. This active cooler is an innovative solution as the high-performance RaAxial fan\u00a0MF17B05<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was simply sunk flush into an aluminium pinbloc heat sink instead of placing it on the surface. A remarkably low overall height of a mere 8 mm is achieved by this type of construction thus allowing the chip cooler to find sufficient space in the smallest of devices. The cooling performance speaks for itself as the pins are offset so that the air flows over them effectively.
