New Cooling Concepts from SEPA EUROPE for Confined Spaces
For the requirements of modern high performance electronics you will find the suitable fan at SEPA EUROPE: Compact dimensions, high air flow rate and pressure increase
SEPA EUROPE sets new standards in efficiency and variability
With dimensions ranging from 15x15x4.5mm to 20x20x8mm, axial fans deliver between 0.6m³/h and 2.2m³/h of air. In order for such a small fan to achieve the optimum airflow, it was necessary to increase the speed, optimize the blade geometry and improve the inlet/outlet geometry. The optimal interaction of all components enables power-saving operation.
Our “smallest” has dimensions of 15x15x4,5 mm and weighs only about 1 g. The reason for this is that the housing and fan wheel are made of vibration-damping GRP. This allows the micro fans to withstand adverse environmental conditions. The operating temperature is between -10°C and 80°C.
Quiet microfans
The noise level of these small power packs is nevertheless very low and never exceeds 20dB(A). The power consumption is also extremely low. A quarter watt is already sufficient, and half a watt is not exceeded. Applications include sensor technology and also the cooling of smaller processors in confined spaces.
Long service life
The service life, measured at 40°C, is an outstanding 400000 hours.
SEPA EUROPE microfans are equipped with the MagFix® plain bearing from SEPA EUROPE.
The term MagFix® stands for magnetic fixation (positioning) of the fan wheel or rotor in plain bearing fans.
The MagFix® bearing from SEPA EUROPE consists of a plain bearing for radial positioning and a so-called track bearing for axial fixation at the tip of the rotor shaft. Simplified, a force in axial direction is used by an offset of the coils to the magnet or by a magnetic track plate to ensure the fixation in the track bearing. This keeps the bearing shoulders free and reliably prevents oil migration.
The result: longer service life, low noise, higher operating temperature up to 85°C!
